PURPOSE: To provide an antenna direction control method in order to reduce the influence of the environmental interference or the influence due to the bearing vibration characteristic for a communications antenna held by an elastic bearing and driven by an actuator.
CONSTITUTION: An antenna drive mechanism control circuit 8 consists of a lead/lag filter 4 and an interference compensator 3 which controls the vibration characteristic caused by an antenna holding elastic bearing and reduces the influence of a disturbance torque 5 applied to an antenna. The compensator 3 consists of an antenna rigid body adverse model computing element 9 and a tertiary LPF 10. A direction angle error signal 14 acquired based on the difference between a target angle 6 and an actual angle 11 is supplied to the filter 4. Then a control signal 7 acquired by adding a main control signal 15 obtained from the filter 4 and an interference compensation signal 16 obtained by the compensator 3 is supplied to an actuator 2. An antenna + elastic bearing 1 receives an output torque 12 of the actuator 2 and the torque 5 of an environment.
