Title:
CONTROLLER FOR SINGLE-PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3933542
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for single-phase induction motor which, if a switch means for controlling excitation is fused, prevents a current limiting resistor from heating and creating danger.
SOLUTION: A current transformer 6 detects a current passed through a single-phase induction motor 15. Based on the output signal of the current transformer 6, a control circuit 8 judges whether a relay switch RL1a has been fused. If the control circuit 8 judges that the relay switch RL1a has been fused, the control circuit turns on a relay switch RY3a to bring a control circuit 13 into conduction. If the relay switch RL1a has been fused, the control circuit 13 turns on a relay switch RL4a. This prevents a current limiting resistor Rs from heating and creating danger.
