Abstract:
PURPOSE: To drive a DC motor as a driving source for the stripping motion of a coated optical fiber stably at a low speed at the time of the stripping.
CONSTITUTION: The rotating speed of the DC motor 14 which performs the stripping motion of the coated optical fiber is detected by an encoder 17. The encoder 17 outputs a detection pulse signal consisting of pulses whose quantity correspond to the rotating speed of the DC motor 14. A driving pulse output part 20 outputs driving pulses for driving the DC motor 14. A motor control part 18 outputs a voltage corresponding to the difference between the number of pulses applied from the driving pulse output part 20 and the number of pulses corresponding to the motor rotating speed which are applied from the encoder 17.
