PURPOSE: To make possible to detect a stop position accurately by employing a detection switch comprising a combination of a printed board provided with conductors in a predetermined pattern and a contact plate fixed to a motor driven by the rotating body slidingly on the printed board.
CONSTITUTION: A driven gear has a lower end face fixed with contact plates 25, 26 from which contacts(CT) 25a-25c, 26a-26c are protruding radially. A printed board 28 is secured below the driven gear. Conductors 30a-30f are printed on the top face of the printed board 28. CTs 25a-26c contact with the conductors 30a-30f while rotating. When a sun roof is operated from full open position to full close position or full incline position, the CT 25a is separated from the conductor 30d at a full close stop position for example, to interrupt conduction to the conductor 30e thus stopping the motor automatically at the full close stop position. At a full incline position, the CT 25b is separated from the conductor 30c to interrupt conduction to the conductor 30e, thus stopping the motor automatically at the full incline stop position.
