Abstract:

PURPOSE: To set a guidance running path without a large-scale construction work, to enhance the detection accuracy in spite of a state of this running path, and also, to autonomously execute proper running by forming the running path of an unmanned running car by line drawing of powder, discriminating a running condition by an output of plural detecting device for detecting a difference between the floor surface and the powder, and executing independently operation control of the left and the right driving wheels, respectively.

CONSTITUTION: Detecting devices 5L-5D detects a running path on the floor surface, converts a reflected light from this floor surface and powder to a digital signal, for instance, based on prescribed lightness as a reference and send it to a control part 13. A detecting signal deciding circuit 14 decides the running direction from combination of signals from each detecting device 5, and selects one of a spin turn arithmetic control circuit 15, a linear arithmetic control circuit 16, and an operation step arithmetic control circuit 17. A driving motor control circuit 18 drives left/right driving motors 6, 7. Also, the detecting device 5C and the detecting device 5D detect an inclination in the advance direction, and an advance direction correction arithmetic circuit 19 controls the speed of revolution of the left/right driving motors 6, 7 corresponding to the inclination in the advance direction. The running conditions which can be discriminated are a right angle turning or a stop, etc.
