Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visual acceleration feeling when the driver has an intention to accelerate.SOLUTION: A control unit 1 is provided in a vehicle equipped with an engine 3, an automatic transmission 4 including a torque converter 10 and a continuously variable transmission 30, and a tachometer 2 that displays a value based on the actual rotational speed Ne of the engine 3. The control unit 1 is provided with a determination unit 1A that determines whether the torque converter 10 is in a lockup state and determines whether or not the start condition of the vehicle is in an acceleration state, and a display control unit 1B which displays a performance rotation speed Na in place of the actual rotational speed Ne when the determination unit 1A determines that the start condition has been satisfied, in the tachometer 2. The display control unit 1B calculates the performance rotational speed Na based on a target value Nt of an input rotational speed of the continuously variable transmission 30, and changes the performance rotational speed Na with a change rate having an absolute value larger than the absolute value of the change rate of the actual rotational speed Ne in the case of sudden change of the target value Nt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
