Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of drive-controlling according to driver's intent suppressing a sudden change in an acceleration when a running resistance drops abruptly.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle 1 includes: an accelerator opening sensor 7; a running-resistance calculator 12; a running-resistance sudden-drop decision unit 14a; a monotonous increase variable calculator 13c; and an electronic control unit 5. The running resistance calculator 12 detects a running resistance estimation value FD due to disturbance during vehicle running. The running resistance sudden drop decision unit 14a detects a sudden drop of the running resistance during vehicle running. The monotonous increase variable calculator 13c sets a monotonous increase variable of a vehicle drive force based on an accelerator opening when the calculator 13c detects sudden drop of the running resistance. The electronic control unit 5 sets a target vehicle drive force based on the monotonous increase variable and the running resistance estimation value FD, and performs a control to converge an actual vehicle drive force to the target vehicle drive force by controlling a drive force applied to tires.
