Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle which can restrain a vehicle from sliding down after starting an engine which is caused by release of working fluid in a torque converter.SOLUTION: A control device for a vehicle in which a transmission mechanism is connected to an engine through a torque converter includes an inclination detecting section for detecting a road surface inclination in stopping of the vehicle, and a control section for executing control to prevent the vehicle from sliding down based on stop time of the engine and a temperature of working fluid supplied to the torque converter when the inclination is equal to or more than a prescribed threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
