To use an exclusive display device for displaying a commodity ejection process in common with a money amount display device in a controller of a vending machine.
The controller of the vending machine is constituted of an arithmetic control part 1a, a main control part 2 for controlling the entire vending machine, a display means 3 for displaying a fed money amount, an ejection time storage means 4 for storing ejection time for each commodity, a display pattern storage means 5 for storing a pattern to be displayed at the display means 3, and a timer 6 for measuring time. The display means 3 displays the fed money amount when a commodity purchaser feeds money and displays a process indicating a commodity ejection state after the commodity to be purchased is selected until the commodity is ejected, and the commodity ejection process is reported to the commodity purchaser even without the display device exclusive for displaying the commodity ejection process.
