Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a controller for water supply pump at the time of scramming of nuclear reactor in which an operator is protected against burdening by automatically ensuring the inventory of supply water upon occurrence of scramming.
CONSTITUTION: The controller for water supply pump at the time of scramming of nuclear reactor, equipped with a main water level controller, a turbine, and a motor driven water supply pump, comprises a plant condition deciding section 1, a water level behavior deciding section 2 for deciding the occurrence of scramming, a supply water flow rate deciding section 3 for deciding the behavior of supply water flow rate, a start deciding section 4 for motor driven water supply pump, a water level deciding stop signal generating section 5 producing a water level deciding stop signal and a set water level modifying signal, a water supply deciding stop signal generating section 6, a water supply pump stop/start signal generating section 7, and a turbine driven water supply pump stop signal generating section 8.
