A joy stick-type multidirectional input device 30 as a biaxial input device and a trigger-type input device 50 as a uniaxial input device are mounted on both sides of a main substrate 60 of the controller. A linear slider linearly driven by operating the controller is built in each input device. A contact is mounted on a bottom surface of each slider and the contact is brought into contact with a resistance circuit provided on a surface of the substrate 60. A resistance varying function is integrated in each input device to dispense with soldering to the substrate 60, thereby making it easy to mount the two input devices on both sides thereof.
