A battery state data acquisition unit 24 acquires battery state data including residual capacity data, or the like, of a battery unit 5. A power consumption prediction unit 23 generates power consumption prediction data during an object period in the future by using the power consumption historical data. A scheduling unit 25 schedules charge/discharge of the battery unit 5 during the object period so as to suppress the maximum value of commercial AC power (power peak value) consumed by a load 9 during the object period, based on the battery state data and power consumption prediction data. A control unit 26 controls charge and discharge of the battery unit 5 through control of a power conversion unit 3 according to the charge/discharge schedule.
