Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of effectively and appropriately operating a semiconductor device using a DSP and an MCU, and a semiconductor system.SOLUTION: A controller 1 is composed of a single chip, and controls voltage regulators 30-1 to 30-3 which supply a power supply voltage to a CPU 25. The controller 1 comprises: an input unit 152 which receives the monitor voltage for monitoring the power supply voltage applied to the CPU 25; a control unit 161 which places the voltage regulator in an off state in discharge mode and detects drop of the power supply voltage to a target voltage by the monitor voltage; and an output unit 153 which outputs a result signal representing transition to normal mode when the power supply voltage reaches the target voltage. The control unit 161 includes an arithmetic circuit 5 operated by a program. The arithmetic circuit 5 is interposed between the input unit 152 and the output unit 153.
