PURPOSE: To enhance versatility by selecting operation and action modes of an air cylinder, by setting acceleration times in X, Y directions for automatic operation mode, deceleration time and low speed feed pressure, by performing calculating operation in this order to determine maximum pressure, high pressure and low pressure, and by inputting starting signals.
CONSTITUTION: A power circuit 37 is operated to select automatic operation, double acting action. A rotary dip switch of a setting device 43 is adjusted, acceleration times of an air cylinder in X, Y directions are set and inputted, deceleration times are adjusted as the product of the acceleration time and coefficients by a trimmer and inputted as the deceleration time after coefficients K1, K2 are set in trimmers AM, DM. Coefficients α1, α2 of low speed feed pressure are set in trimmers AL, BL to be inputted, and maximum pressure, specified high pressure and low pressure are preliminarily set and inputted. In automatic operation mode, a piston is accelerated, decelerated, or fed at low speed in answer to starting signals. These movement can be performed even in case of manual operation or double-acting action, single acting action, and thus the versatility is extremely high.
