Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a size small and improve recognizability and functionality by dividing all available functions into a primary function occurring often and a secondary function to be required not so often. CONSTITUTION: After a patient sits on a chair, a dentist pushes one of primary functional key pads 8.2 with marks of A1-Ar which express that the patient is suitable with respect to his size and suitable for the required treatment. Thereby, necessary functions are started and the chair is moved to a desired position. In the case that the set position is not optimum, the dentist pushes a menu selecting key pad 8.3 in which the chair of the patient is marked and switches on a relative functional switching device 6. As a result, a co-operating symbol 9.1 corresponding to a secondary functional key pad 8.1 is illuminated by a light emitting diode 19. The illuminated symbol 9.1 is stronger optically than unilluminated symbols 9.1, 11, 9.2, 9.3 in a first region 13, and also stronger than a symbol of the chair on the key pad 8.3.
