PURPOSE: To make it possible that an operator chooses at will either limitless paper-feeding or not, by setting motion selector switching keys of an automatic paper-feeding tray changeover means, on the operation board of a copying machine with a limitless paper-feeding means.
CONSTITUTION: When the number of papers required for copying, which is input through ten-keys 13, is more than the number of remaining papers in a paper- feedng tray, a controlling unit 2 decides whether the limitless paper-feeding mode flag F indicted through the operation of a limitless paper-feeding key 17, is 0 or 1, and performs the limitless paper-feeding as before, in case of F=1. In case of F=0, it is indicated that the limitless paper-feeding will be performed, on character displaying parts 23, 24, if the papers of the same size are on the other tray. At this time, an operator chooses whether the limitless paper-feeding is performed or not, through operating either an ×-key 26 or an -key 25. In this system, the operator can choose at will, and use the copying machine conveniently.
