Title:
CONTROLLING METHOD FOR CATALYST BURNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3313520
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To hold burned exhaust gas clean at the time of igniting and to effectively obtain a wide heating variable range by confirming preheating of vaporizer and self-heat generating conductive catalyst at the time of starting to operate, and stopping, after the supply of fuel is started, the energization of the catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: When the operation switch of an operation panel 29 is closed, a self-generating type conductive catalyst 11 and the heater of a vaporizer 5 are energized, the heating of the catalyst 11 and the vaporizer are started, and whether the set temperatures are reached or not is checked. When reaching the set temperatures, a fuel pump 3 and a burning air supply fan 7 are operated, and fed from a fuel tank 1 to the vaporizer 5. The fed fuel is vaporized by the vaporizer 5, fed together with the air supplied from the fan 7 to a mixing chamber 9 to generate uniform mixed gas. When the gas is raised to be brought into contact with the catalyst 11, burning reaction is started, and then the catalyst 11 is deenergized.
