Abstract:

To provide an over top on a hydrostatic continuously variable transmission, and also reconcile highest speed up and power performance maintenance at the time of travel.

In tilt angle control for a movable oblique plate in a hydrostatic continuously variable transmission 1, a target Ne is calculated from an RC (a righting condition) and throttle opening, and the target Ne is compared with an actual Ne to decide the rotation direction and DUTY of a control motor, thereby drive-controlling the motor based on the angle information of the movable oblique plate by the rotation direction and DUTY and an angle sensor 26. TOP is set in constant speed travel, and OVER TOP is set to increase the highest vehicle speed only when the following given over top control conditions are satisfied, 1, the present gear ratio is at the TOP position, 2 throttle opening exceeds a threshold decided by vehicle speed, and 3, engine speed exceeds a set value.
