To provide a controlling method of operation of a cooling storage which starts a quick cooling operation when a door is opened and closed in the process of a cold insulation cycle operation, and when an internal temperature of foodstuff detected by a core temperature sensor is higher than a set temperature by a prescribed temperature or above.
A cooling storage 1 detects an internal temperature of foodstuff by a core temperature sensor and executes a quick cooling operation at a temperature lower than a set temperature of the foodstuff, until the temperature detected by the core temperature sensor reaches the set temperature. At the same time, it executes a cold insulation cycle operation to maintain the internal temperature at the set temperature by using an in-storage temperature sensor, after the internal temperature reaches the set temperature. The quick cooling operation is started when a door 4 is opened in the process of the cold insulation cycle operation, and also when the temperature of the core temperature sensor rises above the set temperature by a prescribed temperature.
