To provide a controlling method of operation of a cooling storage which enables driving of a blower to make food glossy at the time when a cooling operation is not executed and also enables indication of the time having elapsed for sterilization of food, or others, and a temperature at this time for the purpose of control in the cooling operation.
A cooling storage 1 is equipped with a heat insulating box body 3 having the front opened and having a storing chamber 2 inside and with a door 4 for closing up the opening of the heat insulating box body, and cool air generated by a cooler of a cooling circuit is circulated for cooling through the storing chamber 2 by a blower for the cooler. At the time when a cooling operation is not executed, only the blower for the cooler is operated in a state of the door being opened, and also the time having elapsed from the start of operation of the blower and the temperature detected by a temperature sensor are indicated in an indicator 32.
