Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control an accurate stopping position by switching a phase exciting system as required, thereby preveting the stepout of a pulse motor even in a range that high torque is necessary. CONSTITUTION:A cloth is moved for embroidery by moving via a pulse motor 2. A rotary encoder 3 produces a pulse signal in response to the rotating speed to an input counter 6 and a moving amount counter 7. Numeral 4 designates a spindle motor for driving the spindle of a sewing machine, and the output of an encoder 5 mounted on the shaft is fed to a microcomputer 9. The counter 6 outputs an output signal to a phase-exciting converter 8 and the microcomputer 9. The converter 8 outputs the exciting signal of the motor to stator coil phases on the basis of the number of steps.
