Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate adverse effect from load current as a disturbance to a circulation current control system and to control reactive power satisfactorily, by adding a compensating circuit and an adder. CONSTITUTION:By conducting operations an output current detector CTp of a positive-group converter SS-P, an output current detector CTN of a negative-group converter SS-N, adders A1, A2, and A3, an absolute value circuit ABS and an operation amplifier Ko, a circulating current Io is sought. On the other hand, by detecting a reactive power Q at receiving terminal of a cycloconverter CC containing a phase-advancing capacitor C, thus obtained value is compared with reactive power command value by a comparator C1. The deviation is put into a control compensating circuit H(s) and used as a command value of circulating current. A comparator C2 compare the command value of circulating current with a detected value Io, and the deviation is amplified by an amplifier K1 and put into an adder A6. And a load current IL is detected by the adder A3, and an absolute value calculated by the absolute value circuit ABS is put into a compensating circuit HL(s) so that a compensating signal is put out.
