Abstract:
PURPOSE:To rotate a prime mover at a constant speed by comparing the conversion value of a set speed with the count value of a time for the movement of displacement distance, and then controlling the motion of the prime mover on the basis of their difference value. CONSTITUTION:The slit 4 of a disk 3 fitted on the shaft 2 of a DC motor 1 appears at a photosensor consisting of a projector 5 and a photodetector 6 for the disk 3, and after the shaft 2 rotates once, it appears at the same position; this time is counted by utilizing the period of a stable oscillator 7. On the other hand, a speed set by a setting part 8 is converted by a computer 9 into a binary code to obtain a count value which corresponds to the set speed. Then, a reference count value is collated with a count value obtained by measurement, and on the basis of their difference, the armature current of the motor 1 is controlled to rotate the motor 1 at the speed set by the setting part 8, thus rotating it at the constant speed.
