Abstract:
PURPOSE:To use a low voltage type as a breaker for shortcircuiting a stator winding by shortcircuiting the stator side of a motor and supplying a voltage which gradually rises in frequency by a thyristor controller. CONSTITUTION:A shortcircuit breaker CB1 connected with the tap of a motor stator winding S is turned ON at the starting time, and a voltage which gradually rises in a rated frequency from zero frequency is supplied from a thyristor controller TH to a rotor R. When becoming near the rated value, the breaker CB1 is opened, the controller TH is switched to a synchronous motor side, and a system parallel breaker CB2 is closed when synchronized with the system by an automatic synchronizer SS. Thus, the stator winding shortcircuiting breaker can employ a low voltage type.
