Title:
CONTROLLING METHOD OF TENSION BETWEEN STANDS OF CONTINUOUS ROLLING MILL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59181992
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to control tension between stands of a continuous rolling mill which uses AC motors by calculating a magnetic flux, torque current component of the motor, and rolling torque based on the rotating speed. CONSTITUTION:Rolls 1, 2, 3 are respectively driven induction motors 15, 16, 17. The motor 16 is controlled by a frequency converter 24 which inputs an exciting current component command i1d*, a torque current component command i1q, a slip command value omegaS*. Further, the torque calculated value TM2 of the motor of 37 is calculated form command values i1d*, i1q* of d-shaft and q-shaft and inputted to a tension controller 38 between stands. The controller 38 outputs the speed corection value DELTAN2 of the second stand and the speed correction value DELTAN1 of the first stand.
