Abstract:
To provide a method of delivering a rAAV (recombinant adeno-associated virus) virion to the CNS (central nervous system) of a test object.
The method of delivering the recombinant AAV virion to the test object involves a step for administering the rAAV virion through CED (convection-enhanced delivery) into the CNS of the test object, wherein the rAAV virion contains a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide for treatment. The CED is carried out for example by using either of an osmotic pressure pump or an injection pump.
