The convergence device of hangers includes the first sensor 52 for sensing a driving projection and the second sensor 53 for sensing driving projection which are located upstream of a pin sensing sensor 54 to sense a pin 34 for sensing the hanger position, and the hanger 15 on a pre-guide rail 12 is advanced preliminarily on the basis of the information that the first sensor 52 has sensed the driving projection 46, and the hanger 15 is advanced to a position as able to be engaged by the driving projection 46 on the basis of the information that the second sensor 53 has sensed the driving projection 46. Meantime the trolley chain 51 is kept circulating.
