Abstract:
To smoothly proceed with a conversation across a partition.SOLUTION: A conversation support apparatus includes: a person sensor which detects a surrounding persons who are on the outside of a partition when viewed from a responder; a person specifying unit which specifies, as a conversation partner, a person with his or her body and/or face facing a predetermined direction, out of the surrounding persons; a first microphone having a directivity set on the conversation partner; a second microphone set on the responder; a first speaker having a directivity set on the conversation partner; a second speaker set on the responder; a first sound collection unit which converts voice collected by the first microphone to first voice information; a first voice output control unit which outputs the voice collected by the first microphone from the second speaker on the basis of the first voice information; a second sound collection unit which converts voice collected by the second microphone to second voice information; and a second voice output control unit which outputs the voice collected by the second microphone from the first speaker on the basis of the second voice information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
