Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversion joint in which removal of a ring and a resin pipe can be appropriately prevented.SOLUTION: A conversion joint 10 includes a metallic joint body 12 having at its one end a resin pipe connection part 20. One end portion of a resin pipe 14 is externally fitted onto the resin pipe connection part 20 and at the same time a metallic ring 16 is externally fitted onto a fitted portion between the resin pipe connection part 20 and the resin pipe 14. An annular recess part 30 extending in a circumferential direction is formed in a deep end side of inner circumferential surface of the metallic ring 16. In addition, a plurality of annular salients extending in a circumferential direction is formed in the outer circumferential surface of the resin pipe connection part 20. The annular salients includes a first salient 24 arranged at a position opposite to the recess part 30 and a second salient 26 arranged before the first salient 24. Then, the first salient 24 is set to be higher than the second salient 26 to cause the resin pipe 14 to be flexed in a radial direction at a segment held by the recess part 30 and the first salient 24.
