Abstract:
To provide a system and a method converting a polymer-containing substance into a petroleum product.SOLUTION: There is provided a system and a method achieving the conversion of a polymer substance into a petroleum product such as a hydrocarbon gas, a wax, a crude oil and a diesel. A reactor and a system thereof are designed in such a manner that a polymer-containing substance is thermally decomposed by a method of bringing out the yield of a petroleum product higher than that by the conventional existing system. This system has a controller capable of adjusting heating temperature, the rotation of the body and a throughput in accordance with reaction time required for the substance in the reactor. A condensation system can separate the product into a desired petroleum product in accordance with the ratio of product in the range from the wax into crude oil into oil with diesel quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
