Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering high-purity fuel oil from wastes including plastics, tires and paper under normal pressures and at relatively low temperatures, and easily converting such wastes to oil at low cost.
SOLUTION: This method comprises the following process: wastes including plastics, tires and/or paper are mixed with at least a calcium-contg. compound and water, and the mixture is then heated in a closed vessel to recover fuel oil from the wastes; wherein the heating is conducted by raising temperature at a rate of 1-10°C/min to a set temperature (200-400°C).
