Abstract:

To provide an inexpensive converter case excellent in reliability and durability with a small number of parts.

In this converter case 2 having openings 7, 8 on both ends of a metallic pipe 6, accommodated materials 3, 4 such as a catalytic carrier are arranged in a multi-stage form inside the case. The converter case 2 is formed by integrating accommodation pipes 11, 12 with a connection pipe 13. The accommodation pipes 11, 12 can accommodate the accommodated materials 3, 4. The connection pipe 13 connects the accommodation pipes 11, 12 together. A spool part 14 is integrated with the connection pipe 13.
