Abstract:
PURPOSE: To insure stability in a small AC system by temporarily lowering the power supply target value of a DC system by means of the condition which has been the cause of temporarily enlarging the angle of allowance.
CONSTITUTION: When relay RY is excited by introducting, via OFF circuit 46, the condition which has been the cause of advancing the angle of allowance, switch 41 is switched to the set current value Idf. Then, a proper value, which is smaller than Idf and about 10 to 50% of Idp results. Consequently, when switch 41 is switched, the current in the DC system suddenly decreases. This gives room for the angle of allowance, and prevents commutation failure.
