Abstract:
To realize a converter device capable of accurately and quickly detecting a layer short circuit of a reactor provided to an AC side.SOLUTION: A converter device 1 having a power supply regenerative function, comprises: a power conversion part 11 that selectively executes a rectification operation in which an AC power input from an AC side is converted into a DC power and is output to a DC side, and a regenerative operation that converts the DC power on the DC side into the AC power and is output to the AC side; a regenerative current detection part 12 that detects a regeneration current flowing into the power conversion part 11 from the DC side at a regenerative operation; and a layer short circuit detection part 13 that detects a layer short circuit of a reactor 5 provided between the AC side of the power conversion part 11 and an AC power supply 3 on the basis of a change amount per unit time of the regenerative current.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
