Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce a rotor rotating angle per pulse with a simple construction by providing two or more numbers of notches in a stator part facing a rotor with a pair of magnetic poles. CONSTITUTION:In a stator 2 with a coil 3, a hole 2c with notches 2f-2i of numbers not less than two, for example, four is made, and in the hole 2c, a magnetic rotor 1 with a pair of magnetic poles N and S is arranged. The notches 2f and 2h and the notches 2g and 2i are each made symmetrically in relation to the center of the rotor 1, and a line 5 connecting the notches 2f and 2h and a line 6 connecting the notches 2g and 2i intersect with each other at an angle from 45 deg.-135 deg.. By applying two continued pulses of the same phase of positive and negative alternately, the rotor 1 is rotated 90 deg. per pulse being stopped when its magnetic poles face each pair of notches, therefore, it stops four times in one revolution.
