Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the wiring cost of a converter by providing different magnitudes of the gate pulses of a specific converter arm and using the gate pulses as also synchronizing signal, thereby serially transmitting the gate pulses. CONSTITUTION:The magnitude of the gate pulse VN applied to the specific arm of a converter 3 of the gate pulses UP, WN, VP, UN, WP, VN generated from a gate pulse generator 1 is formed to be different from those of the gate pulses UP, WN, VP, UN, WP applied to the other arm in a transmitter 4, and the gate pulses are fed in the prescribed sequence in time series manner. The gate pulses UP, WN, VP, UN, WP, VN are distributed on the basis of the gate pulse VN having different magnitude transmitted through the transmitter 12 in a receiver 5.
