To attain highly efficient motor control by operating a main CPU in cooperation with a sub CPU.

Work is shared between the main CPU and the sub CPU. The sub CPU performs fundamental control at such a high control speed that the main CPU cannot attain (a short sampling period), while the main CPU performs the other control. This can reduce ROM and RAM capacities of the sub CPU, thus resulting in cost reduction.
