Abstract:
To provide a simply constructed conveyance device capable of stably rotating and conveying a columnar article in an erected state, and a shrink packaging device using the conveyance device.SOLUTION: This conveyance device is for conveying a columnar article W1, and provided with first and second conveyors 20, 22 arranged in parallel to each other. The first conveyor 20 is provided with a first article mounting part (a plurality of first mounting members 26) that moves at a prescribed speed in a conveying direction, and the second conveyor 22 is provided with a second article mounting part (a plurality of first mounting members 30) that moves at a speed having an absolute value smaller than that of the moving speed of the first article mounting part in the conveying direction and its opposite direction. The columnar article W1 is mounted so as to be erected over the respective upper surfaces of the first and second article mounting parts, and supported at both ends of a bottom surface opposed to each other with a center axis therebetween. When the first and second article mounting parts move, the columnar article W1 is rotated and conveyed due to a difference in moving speed between the first and second article mounting parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
