Abstract:
To reduce an evacuation space required when no cleaning operation is carried out.SOLUTION: Rotation amounts of a conveyance roller 32 rotationally driven by a conveyance motor 33 in a conveyance unit 31, and a driven roller 34 rotated by being driven by coming into pressure contact with the conveyance roller are set so as to be compared from outputs ENC1, ENC2 of respectively connected encoders 35, 36. When a control part 6 determines that the number of pulses of each of the outputs ENC1, ENC2 of the respective encoders 35, 36 is almost identical (ENC1≒ENC2), an appropriate nip pressure Nt of a web W with the conveyance roller 32 and the driven roller 34 is set to be determined by the control part 6, with the nip pressure Ns, Na+sβ thereupon as a reference as taking the conveyance roller 32 having the same rotation amount as that of the driven roller 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
