Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device capable of improving workability and operation rate in an assembly line.
SOLUTION: This conveyance device is provided with a conveyor 3 having a loading face continuous in the direction of conveyance, a plurality of carriers 5 for loading a workpiece, a stopper 11, and a wheel lock mechanism 15. A wheel 4 in at least a part of the carrier 5 is loaded on the conveyor 3, and each carrier 5 is arranged by separating the carriers forward and backward along the conveyor 3 to move together with the conveyor 3. The stopper 11 is provided on the halfway of a travel passage of the carrier 5 to stop the carrier 5 by responding to stop input. The wheel lock mechanism 15 locks the wheel 4 on the conveyor 3 usually to prevent its rotation and releases locking by responding to carrier stop operation of the stopper 11.
