Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of a conveyance distance of a printing medium by stabilizing positional relation between the conveyed printing medium and a feeding amount detection roller.SOLUTION: A conveyance distance detecting mechanism 175 is provided on a conveying path of a printing medium P of a printing device for detecting a conveyance distance of the printing medium. The mechanism comprises: a feeding amount detection roller 125 for detecting the conveyance distance of the printing medium; a pre-stage side guide part 176 provided on a pre-stage side in a conveying direction of the printing medium of the feeding amount detection roller for guiding the printing medium to the feeding amount detection roller; and a post-stage side guide part 177 provided on a post-stage side in the conveying direction of the printing medium of the feeding amount detection roller for introducing the printing medium to a post-stage of the feeding amount detection roller. The feeding amount detection roller is arranged at a position offset with respect to a common contact surface which contacts to both the pre-stage side guide part and the post-stage side guide part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
