To provide a conveyance facility which can ensure a large storage space of a travelling body and can convey a cargo having high load.

A self-running vehicle V moves on lines 1, 3, 4, 5 (horizontal parts of a conveyance path) by driving force of a linear motor and is moved by a lifter 6 in a vertical part of the conveyance path which connects the lines. According to this configuration, the self-running vehicle V runs by thrust of the linear motor in the horizontal parts of the conveyance path to realize high speed running of the self-running vehicle V and reduce a capacity of the motor so that a large storage space can be ensured. Moreover, it is lifted and lowered by the lifter 6 in the vertical part of the conveyance path to lift and lower the self-running vehicle V on which a cargo having high load is loaded so that a conveyance facility which can convey the cargo having high load at a high speed is provided.
