In the conveyance storage container 10 of semiconductor materials that has the container body 12 having semiconductor material accommodation space 121 and an opening 122, a lid body 14 for blocking the opening 122, and a flange 18 for conveyance; a lifting member 16 is provided. The lifting member 16 has a first portion 161 that is positioned at the upper section of the container body 12, and a pair of second portions 162 that interlocks the portion between the first portion 161 and both the opposite sides 12 of the container body 12. The flange 18 for conveyance is mounted to the first portion 161, thus lifting the container body 12 by the flange 18 for conveyance via the lifting member 16 on both the sides of the container body 12 or a lower surface.
