PURPOSE: To mitigate Moperator's labour and improve his operability by system atizing the tire mounting/demounting operation and the tire conveyance opera tion.
CONSTITUTION: First rails 26, 28 are disposed in such a manner as to surround a vehicle. A nut runner is moved along the first rails 26, 28 up to a tire mounting/ demounting position. Subsequently, in a condition in which the vehicle is jacked up, a tire dolly 90 is disposed below the tire, and a wheel nut is demounted using the nut runner. Since the tire is supported by the tire dolly, demounting the wheel nut permits the tire to be drawn off from mounting bolts through moving of the tire dolly in a direction in which the vehicle axis extends. The tire dolly continues to be moved to convey the tire up to a floor surface corresponding to a position at which a second rail 50 is disposed. Then, the tire is retained by a hanger suspended from the second rail 50 so as to move the tire along the second rail 50.
