Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize posture of a conveyed medium at a position where processing is applied to the medium.SOLUTION: A first conveying unit 10 conveys a medium, in a first conveyance passage that is along a first direction forming an angle to a horizontal direction A101, in the first direction. A returning conveyance unit 30 conveys the medium, which has been conveyed by the first conveying unit 10, while changing the conveyance direction towards a second direction opposite to the first direction. A second conveying unit 20 conveys the medium, which has been conveyed by the returning conveyance unit 30, in the second direction in a second conveyance passage that is along the second direction. A processing unit 100 includes a first processing unit 110 and a second processing unit 120, and applies processing to surfaces of the conveyed medium in both of the first conveyance passage 11 and the second conveyance passage 21. The second processing unit 120 is placed more closely to the returning conveyance unit 30 than the first processing unit 110 is.
