PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin transport vehicle with an increased lift amount, which can slide into a space between a car of a roll box and a traveling surface and can convey the roll box.SOLUTION: A load lifting device 3 disposed at each of at least one pair of diagonal corners of a substantially rectangular transport vehicle casing 2 comprises a lifting drive device 104 disposed in the transport vehicle casing, and a load support base 5 that can be raised and lowered by the lifting drive device. The lifting drive device comprises: a motor 10; a drive gear 11 rotated in forward and reverse directions by the motor; a rectangular tube member 112 having an inner peripheral tooth part 122 on an inner peripheral surface thereof; a housing 113 which is fixed to the transport vehicle casing and rotatably supports the tube member; and a lifting shaft part 114 in which the load support base is fixed to an upper end thereof and which has a tooth part 123 on an outer peripheral surface thereof that meshes with the inner peripheral tooth part of the tube member. One of the tube member and the lifting shaft part has an outer tooth part 21 meshing with the drive gear and is rotatable in forward and reverse directions, and the other one of the tube member and the lifting shaft part is not rotatable and moves forward and backward in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
