PURPOSE: To prevent biting and breakage of a transported article by connecting plate-like transport element plates, the overlapping parts of which are acute angles, to plural cylindrical portions by pins to form a rotatable endless plate transport unit.

CONSTITUTION: A both-ended hinge 1, both end edges of which are formed to have an acute section, is provided with a cylindrical connecting portion 2 which can be freely combined and with a connecting portion 3 having an inside diameter a little smaller than that of the connecting portion 2, which are symmetrical. Such cylindrical portions are bent back to back and combined by pins 6 to form an endless belt, the upper surface of which is a flat outer periphery. Plate-like side plates are disposed on both sides of the thus constructed plate-like transport unit 5. Accordingly, biting, slip-off and breakage of a transported article can be prevented.
