To provide a conveying carriage capable of using own weight of a workpiece as a power source and a conveying line including it.
This conveying carriage is provided with an advancing force generation means for converting the load of the workpiece 9 placed on a placing base 3 to force for advancing a carriage part 10, an energy storing means for storing energy accompanied by advancing movements of the carrier part 10, and a retreating force generation means for converting the energy stored in the energy storing means to force for making the carriage part 10 retreat. The placing base 3 is arranged so as to be capable of being lifted and lowered with respect to the carriage part 10, and the carriage part 10 is provided with a drive wheel 21 driven through a driving force transmitting part 4 for converting the lifting and lowering movements of the placing base 3 to rotating movements. It is preferable that the advancing force generation means is a means for converting the lowering movements of the placing base 3 lowered by the load of the workpiece 9 placed on the placing base 3 positioned on an upper position to the rotating movements of the drive wheel 21 along the advancing direction through the driving force transmitting part 4.
