Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device and an inkjet recording device that can suppress paper dust from flying in air with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A conveying device 300 comprises a feeding member F, a conveying belt 355 and a suction portion 360. The conveying belt 355 includes a first region 701 on which a part of a recorded medium P can be placed and a second region 702 adjacent to the first region 701. In the conveying belt 355 are formed a plurality of suction holes 355a communicated with the suction portion 360. An opening area per one of suction holes 355a included in the first region 701 of the plurality of suction holes 355a is smaller than an opening area per one of suction holes 355a included in the second region 702 of the plurality of suction holes 355a. The number of the suction holes 355a per unit area included in the first region 701 of the plurality of suction holes 355a is larger than the number of the suction holes 355a per unit area included in the second region 702 of the plurality of suction holes 355a.
