Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device and a conveying method capable of improving a conveying speed of an article such as a shaft, and preventing or reducing damage or the like on an appearance or the like.
SOLUTION: The conveying device 10 transfers a shaft 18 conveyed by a belt conveyer 20 to a guide plate 42 provided on a side of the belt conveyer 20 by a pressing piece 32 of a transfer part 24, and the shaft is rolled on the guide plate 42 and is stayed on an intermediate bucket 40. A plurality of shafts 18 are stayed on the intermediate bucket 40, and then all of the shafts are transferred on a conveying claw 76 of a conveying robot 72 all at once, and are conveyed by the conveying robot 72. Therefore, it is not necessary to correspond a conveying speed of the conveying robot 72 to the conveying speed of the shat 18 on the belt conveyor 20, and a decrease in a total conveying speed is prevented.
